About Your Pennsylvania Tree Buyers
Attention: Landowners in Northwestern Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and South Western New York State.
Our family has been in the timber harvesting business for over 40 years, when Glenn Ongley got a chainsaw for his thirteenth birthday and started cutting pulp wood and graduated to logging shortly thereafter. Of course, all those years of experience doesn’t add up to a hill of beans if it doesn’t translate into the best value for your timber. Our tree buyers get that.
We also get the fact that everyone gives free estimates…and also that same “free” estimate doesn’t always add up to every penny that your timber is worth. So rather than talking about ourselves…wouldn’t it make more sense to contact us, get to know us a little, and see what we can do for you? After talking, if there isn’t a fit, we can part ways in a friendly manner.
A quick note: We pay money up front for standing timber (before any trees are harvested) in the following counties.
Counties: Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana
Counties: Crawford, Venango, Forest, Mercer, Butler, Clarion, Erie, Beaver, and Warren
Counties: Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and Steuben
We realize the fact that every landowner who wants to sell his or her timber naturally wants to be sure they are getting the best value.
Almost everyone has heard a story about how a friend lost big bucks on a timber deal with tree buyers who didn’t give them all the facts. And you, of course, don’t want to be one of them. The timber buyers at Glenn Ongley Timber are committed to guiding you through a process to make sure you get the best value for what you have.
You probably have a few questions already about the timber harvesting process. You can check out our Timber Buyers Secrets here, which will give you some of the pitfalls many landowners face when selling their timber. We’re not saying they will happen to you, but “forewarned is forearmed.”
